Eleven days Eco-Adventure

Day One:

Arrival to Amman (The capital): short tour down town subject to arrival time. 

Overnight in Amman hotel. HB (HB=half board).

Day Two:

Climbing day in Rasoun or Fuhais rated easy to moderate: Two breathtaking sites for climbing, routes are suitable for teaching climbing basics, easy for beginners up to difficult. We will try abseiling during our visit

Day Three:

Canyoning in Zara Canyon Thermal Springs full day: Wadi Zarqa Ma’in (Valley of the God) is supposed to be a camping place. Zarqa Ma’in – a magnificent gorge; but there are only tombs to be seen in it. Thence a steep and difficult path leads to the hot springs of Callirhoe. In this valley we will have easy walk, and the last 4km will be trekking to Ma’in Spa.

Days Four & Five:

Canyoning & camping in Hasa Canyon: Wadi Hasa magnificent hanging gardens, narrow gorges and hot springs. Its upper reaches are carved into white limestone, creating a playground of giant boulders. A dramatic change of scenery is displayed along its lower course, where the wadi cuts a spectacular canyon in red sandstone. The drainage basin of Wadi Hasa extends over 3,200 sq. km, far bigger than most of the wadis in Moab or Edom and second only wadi Mujip. Its discharge is about 20 million cubic m per year and the temperature of its hottest spring is about 54 C. A rare tropical tree (Dalbergia sissoo), not known elsewhere in Jordan grows in its bed.

We will hiking this 20 Km canyon with full gear, magical place and considered Jordan’s water park, we will be camping in the middle of it.

Day four will be camping in the canyon

Day Six:

Full day Aqaba for some water activities in the red sea.

Overnight in Wadi Rum camps HB.

Day Seven:

Walking in Wadi Rum: Wadi Rum is a protected area covering 720 square kilometers of dramatic desert wilderness in the south of Jordan. Huge mountains of sandstone and granite emerge, sheer-sided, from wide sandy valleys to reach heights of 1700 meters and more.

Narrow canyons and fissures cut deep into the mountains and many conceal ancient rock drawings etched by the peoples of the desert over millennia. Bedouin tribes still live among the mountains of Rum and their large goat-hair tents are a special feature of the landscape.

Hiking in in Jebel Hish followed by a 4x4 jeep tour.

Day Eight:

Hiking little Petra (Beda) to Big Petra Full day: our hike starts from little Petra going through the rough terrain with magestic views to enter Petra (the main city) through a back door from Al Deer and finishing at the main gate.  “Petra, the world wonder, is without a doubt Jordan’s most valuable treasure and greatest tourist attraction. It is a vast, unique city, carved into the sheer rock face by the Nabataeans, an industrious Arab people who settled here more than 2000 years ago, turning it into an important junction for the silk, spice and other trade routes that linked China, India and southern Arabia with Egypt, Syria, Greece and Rome.

Day Nine:

Exploring Dana

Dana Biosphere Reserve is the largest nature reserve in Jordan, covering over 300 square kilometers and all four different bio-geographical zones of the Kingdom. In the east, elevations reach 1500 meters before descending through canyons and gorges to the low elevations of Wadi Araba. Dana is one of the most biologically and historically rich areas in Jordan. The area is one of the oldest continuously inhabited areas in the world and boasts Neolithic villages, ancient copper mines, Roman aqueducts and Byzantine churches. The diverse landscapes, wildlife and cultures offer a micro-paradise for adventurers, history buffs,
archaeologists, hikers, and nature lovers. Afternoon Walk.

Day Ten:
