The Challenge Course ( High /Low Ropes Course) - Program 1

A ropes course is a challenging outdoor personal development and team building activity, it consists of high and/or low elements. Low elements  take place on the ground or only a few feet above the ground. High elements are usually constructed in trees or made of utility poles  and require a belay for safety.

The Challenge Course is a unique program: it is a high reward, seemingly risky activity, as the risk is greatly minimized by strict and thorough safety measures. The participants may logically understand that they are safe, but their knees still shake when they are 30 feet up. In other words, the perceived risk is much greater than the actual risk. This is what makes the Ropes Course a mental challenge as well as a physical one.

The value of the ropes course is recognized in a broad range of activities, including education, recreation, therapy, and organizational development. The combination of Low and High Ropes Courses enables participants to grow at the team and individual levels, exploring risk, leadership, communication, problem-solving, and coaching.

The high ropes Course also emphasizes risk-taking, decision making and trust, and allows the individual to understand how to set and achieve personal goals. The challenges of this course allow participants to expand their comfort zones—sometimes dramatically—and recognizes fears that may block personal achievement. Each moment is rich with discoveries, whether a person is climbing, supporting "on belay," or finding an effective way to encourage a teammate.

The Low Ropes Course focuses on problem solving, collaboration, teamwork, communication and leadership, is physically challenging in parts and usually results in clients gaining a better of working in a team to achieve an outcome.

the oscars, A movie Making Experience - Program 5

Film making has substantial business benefits. Companies can use this event to promote their company or team values. There is a great deal to learn from the films that people make, they can be kept to be reviewed in the future and shared with the rest of the company. What better way to stretch your team’s creativity and communication skills than have them plan, script, direct, perform and edit their very own 1-5 minute Movie Hit. What ever your occasion or objective you can be sure that your team’s are in for an entertaining, rewarding and above all motivational team building experience. • In this movie making activity, participants are divided into groups representing competing film production companies. The challenge: create a movie Hit. Who will be the actors? Who is going to direct? And what about a camera operator, props and costumes designer, editor or even an in-house marketing group? Clearly, serious teamwork will be essential for success of the Movie HIT. • There is then a planning stage where teams will come up with a theme (or this can be pre-arranged) for their movie and create a storyboard of scenes/shots that they want to film.   • Groups write, rehearse, select props and costumes... then filming begins, using either professional cameras or simply mobile phones with which they can shoot their master pieces!  • Depending on the venue, you will usually have the ability to shoot in different areas of the venue and the more creative you can be, the more impressive the end result.  • Films will be shown same day of event or next day, could be combined with Gala Dinner.  Presented by a candidate from each team and all get to vote, scores are basedon technical merit, commercial viability, professionalism & team involvement but above all most points will be awarded for entertainment & fun factor!

the team quest, A Scavenger Hunt Experience - Program 6

The Team Quest is a scavenger hunt customized by DIJ to meet the clients specific objectives. It mimics a successful workplace dynamic where smaller teams must first accomplish their tasks before the entire company can reach its goal. Rather than use a lecture or classroom setting to teach these concepts, we get your group out and moving to infuse the experience with action and fun. This Team Quest will also encourage teams to think outside of the box by exercising creativity, resourcefulness, and decision-making. Teams strike out on foot using a series of clues that take teams to different locations where challenges awaits to stimulate their creative thinking, intensive problem-solving and effective time managementsense. Small teams are created, each team will be given a manual of instructions, list of items, and camera then sent on their way with a designated time to return to a designated place. It's up to each team to utilize the skills, talents and resourcefulness of their fellow teammates during their mission to find the hidden object. Facilitators will be localized in specific locations. WE do not go for a conventional one…. Added to riddles and mind games the quest includes special challenges at different locations.  Some of the special challenges might include diving in the deep sea, or putting your hand in a jar full of worms or parking a remote control car….You Just needa sharp mind, comfy shoes and team work . Each team will earn points by completing the task allocated to them at each station and by their success with the Special Challenges. The winning team is the one that gets the higher points and reach the hidden object first.

the gamepedia, Interactive Gaming - Program 7

The Gamepedia are best described as team building challenges that focus more on planning, communication, problem solving, and creative thinking, than on physical ability. They are a great way to begin or enhance the team-development process, or simply have fun. Teams are led through a series of activity stations, each takes 45-75 minutes including a provocative discussion about how to maximize individual involvement, plan effectively, and which leadership and participation roles work best. Selected activities will help the team navigate through many of the different stages of their development, there are games to help team members to get to know each other better, games to encourage open communication, problem solving, and evenactivities that allow team members to showappreciation of one another…. We use different activities with the goal of taking your team from a group of individuals into a real high performing team. The selection of games and activities we have is huge, so each program is specifically tailored to the objectives and allowed time of the activity and aims at driving participants to work smarter, not harder. Ideally suited to organizations looking for results-driven team building.  This program suites almost every location, either indoor or outdoor- our team will pay an inspection visit to location before designing the program to insure proper use of space and making sure the games are idle for the chosen space.
